Deleting Users

Organizers can delete user accounts from the Manage Users page. Based on what the has been set in the Privacy & Security settings, the account will either be deleted permanently or soft-deleted. In either case, the user will not be able to log in to the platform and all personally-identifiable information will be removed from the platform.

To delete a user,

  1. Go the Manage Users page (via navigating Manage > Users or /admin/manage/users path).
  2. Search & find the user you want to delete.
  3. Click on the 3 dots icon at the right of the row showing the user, to open the quick actions dropdown.
  4. Click on the Delete option.
  5. A confirmation screen will be shown, click on the Confirm button to confirm and delete the user.

This is an irreversible action and the user will not be able to recover their account. It is advised to use this option only when the user has requested to be deleted from the platform. To temporarily revoke access to a user, use the Banning feature instead.
