Participation Modes

On our platform, the organizers can run events with both team and individual participation simultaneously. Even for those registered as teams, every member gets a separate account, and their submissions and other activities can be tracked individually, though the scoreboard will show the team's score.

The organizer, through the admin panel, can choose to allow or disallow teams, similarly choose to allow or disallow individual participant. In any case, however, atleast one of the two must be allowed. Therefore, the platform can be customized to operate the following 3 ways -

  1. Only Individuals - Users need to individually register, and participate individually
  2. Only Teams - Users participate as a team, though they sign up individually and have separate accounts.
  3. Both Teams and Individuals - Users can choose participate either as individuals (1) or be part of a team (2).

Participation as a Team​

  • Captain of the team registers, and sends invites to other team members.
  • Every member also has to register with the invite code, and has an account.
  • If a member solves a challenge, the entire team receives the credit.
  • Organizers can know which team member solved a challenge.

Maximum Team Size​

Organizers can set a limit to the maximum number of members allowed per team, from the admin panel. This needs to be a minimum of 2, and can be left blank to not set a limit.

Participation as an Individual​

  • Participants register individual accounts and participate.
  • Participants may still share accounts to form pseudo-teams.
