📎 Attachments

Challenges may require some files attached with it which would be accessed by the contestants to solve that challenge. Attachments allow organizers to upload the files that is to be displayed and downloaded along with the challenge.

A challenge can have multiple attachments, which can either be uploaded as files or as external links.

tip

Using attachments has some additional benefits when compared to adding a link directly into the challenge description. Attachments are never accessible to the public, and get hidden whenever the CTF is frozen. Furthermore, attachment downloads and access get logged and therefore can be monitored.

Each attachment can be upto 25MB in size. For attachments with larger size, the organizer can upload them on a file hosting service and add a direct link to it to while creating an attachment (PS: this too can be tracked and hidden unlike putting them directly in the description).
